Yachting Club, if the name evokes a leisurely walk on the deck of a boat, the first EP of YxC reveals the depth of an imaginary journey that does not lack elegance. Released in september 2015, Captain's Memories invites us to a timeless journey into the intricacies of sound, which combines, post industrial clatter of a fantastic boat, unceasing sea rolls, and the harmonies of souvenir. The slow and hypnotic groove, between BrokenBeat, Abstract, Downtempo and Film music gives way to reverie but often reveals a delicate nostalgia.
