Black Eyes impressed us earlier in the year with the Planet People - Terra Firma EP he co-produced alongside Reedale Rise and now steps out with a solo EP on Lost Control. He keeps it deep and house-y but with a jazzy edge. 'Understood Sea Being' is all fleshy drums and fat bass hits under balmy chords. 'Lets Get Deeper' then rides on a lush house groove that's softened with glorious chords and subtle vocals for sunset sessions and 'Scuba Lyfe' is another summery house vibe with super chord work. The one and only Rolando remixes into something more twisted and techno leaning but similarly deep.
