2H brings Chez Damier and Ben Vedren in a quiet exchange, grounded in depth and intention. Developed away from passing trends, the 2H series focuses on feel, consistency and a long-term vision of deep house rooted in patience.
Rissa Garcia opens with a remix of ‘Tomorrow Now’, a hazy, low-slung affair built on warm bass, dusty drums and gently drifting piano lines, with deep brass and subtle eastern tonalities. Gilles Smith follows with a more sensual take on ‘Seasons For Everything’, weaving jazz-tinged harmonies, hypnotic loops and a fluid groove around Chez’s enlightening vocals.
On the flip, Nico Lahs delivers a brighter cut centred on classic house chords and mesmerising vocals, before Dawan closes with an off-centre electro Italo-disco minimal leaning interpretation.
