Paris-based Hugo LX has built up a fine discography with music on labels like NDATL, People Of Earth and Balance. He's said to have a long player ready to drop in 2023 and runs his own Doma label. It is there that this new EP lands with its spaced-out grooves, jazzy motifs and rich ambient designs. Adding the next level musicianship which elevates these deep house cuts are frequent collaborators such as Kansas City trumpeter Hermon Mehari, guitarist Christopher Johnson and French Caribbean pianist Tony Tixier.
