The second limited 12" in the Neighboursoul Edits series by Jacque Renault carries on when the popular first one left off. That is to say big tunes, big beats, big samples. 'Magic Rhythm Machine' is a drunken 2 am riot led by monster horns. 'JFK Disco Dub' has excellently wriggling brass and a stepping bassline that builds and builds and builds and never really resolves which will leave crowds in raptures. On the reverse is 'Real To Real,' a more grown-up and sensuous deep house slash disco sound with luxuriant strings for late-night lovers. Things slow right down for the lumpen, elephantine beatdown that is 'Gotta Serve Somebody.'
