The deepArtSounds label welcome the mighty Jenifa Mayanja to their label to bring some East Coast deepness to a label with a strong track record in the house domain.
Mayanja is captivating on "Submission", a balmy trip as playful as it is restrained. "Longing" brings in a distinct soul focus, with gorgeous vocals and tinkling keys swirling in the mix together. "Chase The Darkness" shakes things up with crooked percussion and a catchy lead.
"Building Myth" kicks the B-side off in truly spiritual fashion, riding a drum roll to die for and peppering the track with splashes of horns and an inspiring speech.
"Once Upon A Time" cools things down with a spaced out downtempo offering, setting the scene perfectly for Allstarr Motomusic to create a sublime deep techno version of "Longing".
