Some classically timeless, retro-futurist deep house warmth here, as Pisa producer Niccolo Turini makes his bow on Gert-Jan Bijl aka Gerd's long-running 4 Lux label. Rich in classic drum and synth-sounds, much of the material is propulsive and energetic enough for peak-time floors, but thanks to its atmospheric sonics and huggable motifs could also be played in warm-up or after-hours sets. Highlights include Mr Fingers-influenced early morning deep house jazziness of 'Let The Music Bring You Up', the chunky and wide-eyed 'Take Me To The Moon', the weighty deep-and-jacking headiness of 'People From My Loves' and the simply gorgeous 'Get Down'
