Noel WILLIAMS - Music Street

Emotional Rescue's continued dive into the Konduko archives continues to gift us the finest wares from Noel Williams' illustrious archive. 'Music Street' is a catchy slice of early 80s electro-soul, delivered with that slightly crooked finish that makes Konduko releases so eternally charming. There is of course a monster bass synth powering everything - surely one of Williams' calling cards as a producer of some of the quirkiest boogie bangers of the day. As well as the instrumental, on the B side Universal Cave get busy with a 'Discomix' that does just enough nipping and tucking to get this DJ-friendly without losing the loose flavour of the original.
