A classic of cosmic disco, NOIA's 'Stranger In A Strange Land' was originally released in 1983. It would become one of the signature tunes of one Danielle Baldelli, a pioneer of the slowing-down of disco using the BPM control on a vinyl turntable, which owed a lot to inspiring the downtempo cosmic disco sound of later 'greats' like Andrew Weatherall. With wobbly analogue synths, gated snares and utopian melodies, it's a gem of Italian hedonic escapism.
