Sound Synthesis - Orbital 102

After the recent first drop on Orbital Frequencies, Keith Farrugia is back with more of his Maltese Sound Synthesis. This is dark and sinewy electro from a dystopian future, dealing in low-blowing bass synths and creepy vocoders aplenty. 'Biological System' has more than a whiff of early Dopplereffekt about it, and that's no bad thing, while 'Primary Functions' sounds like it could comfortably land in a set alongside some of the moodier gear from Breakin' Records. 'I See You Looking At Me' has a tasty dose of acid tipped into its eerie space soup, and 'Robotic Lusien' finishes the record off with an uneasy creeper that even teases the tiniest slither of breaks into the mix.
