Paris groove mechanic Vaudafunk lines up 'The Vaudafunkiest' EP for the cream-toppers at Frappe Records, gathering four of his sharpest, most floor-ready cuts for the label, plus two fresh remixes from core members of the Frappe crew. The French producer refines his funk-driven house blueprint, that is crisp percussion, elastic basslines and chopped-up vocal stabs, where 'Plage Privee', 'Amour Fatal' and more realise the seduction factor of heady, croaky female French-language spoken word recordings layered on top. A pink nocturne of an EP, like a sonic fairy tale played out against a black backdrop.
