Star Creature really is one of our star labels right now. The Chicago outlet's next trick is to welcome back Arsene with a second 12" that centres his analogue house credentials. The NYC via Windy City producer moves beyond the raw punch of earlier cuts while locking into deeper East Coast sensibilities without losing that physical, club-ready clout. Each track is built on rugged drums and elastic basslines, always with a sense of movement. There's a toughness here, but also restraint, with grooves unfolding patiently rather than demanding attention outright. Arsene again shows he is one to keep an eye on.
