Doggy - Psyche (Remastered)

The Mint Condition label is now almost at the half century mark, and is still coming through with the vital reissue goods. This one focuses on Birmingham's Peter 'Doggy' Duggal, whose early 90s Psyche EP was made with a collection of bedroom hardware and influenced by the huge love for the crunchy techno sounds of Cybotron. It is edgy, textural music for dark, strobe lit warehouses, with bright, stark chords, glitchy electronics and a range of inventive drum machine rhythms. The EP includes previously unreleased tunes as well as new versions never heard before that the artist has found in his DAT archive.
