The Michigander label is back with more straight business, this time pairing Greg Gow with Brian Kage for a four-tracker that deals in authentic Detroit vibes from two city mainstays. 'D Send To Ascend' opens up with a driving but deep sound that teeters between house and techno with foggy pads and monstrous bass. 'Depth Gauge' pulls back for a more swinging and roomy cut, but one that still has plenty of mass in the low end. 'Prophet Pulses' will get dancers up on their toes with a rumbling undercarriage and drums that subtly uplift as the chords work their soulful cosmic magic. 'Lines Crossed' shuts down with tight drums and loopy chords that keep you locked in the here and now.
